Launch of Small Projects Exhibition for Egyptians in the UAE
March 24, 2022Member of the National Council for Women, Chairman of the Information Committee, Prof. Suzan ElKalliny, said that the Egyptian Embassy in the UAE will organize an exhibition of small projects for Egyptians in Abu Dhabi tomorrow Friday under the title “Egyptian Initiative in Support of Small Enterprises”; Within the framework of the State’s plan to support and empower Egyptians abroad.
ElKalliny added, in a special statement to the Middle East News Agency on Thursday, that the initiative was launched under the auspices of the Ambassador of Egypt in the UAE Sharif al-Badawi, and will be held over the course of 3 days with the aim of encouraging small Egyptian enterprises abroad, To allow them to present their products to the public, explaining that the initiative comes in cooperation with the Labour Representation Office of the Embassy headed by Chancellor Hanan Shaheen, The Emirates Heritage Club Abu Dhabi, and the NCW Information Committee.
The initiative included the participation of 25 Egyptian models, as well as some small and medium-sized business owners, through the display of products ranging from Egyptian cuisine to accessories, antiques and handicrafts, stressing that the exhibition will be interspersed with some folkloric events of Egyptian heritage, as well as valuable competitions and awards for attendees.
ElKalliny noted that the International Strategic Center for Education and Information – the event organizer – will give the Centre’s shield to both the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Abu Dhabi and the Emirates Heritage Club to host the event.
